| 17 RR organized Iftar party at helipad Kishtwar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kishtwar August 26:- 17 Rashtriya Rifles under the aegis of Commanding Officer 9 Sector RR organized an Iftar party at helipad Kishtwar in which people from different walks of life participated.
The Iftar was attended by a large number of civilians including children, social workers, members from civil society, leaders of political parties and officials of District Administration Kishtwar and police.
The people were delighted to attend the Iftar party and wholeheartedly appreciated the goodwill gesture and bonhomie extended by the Army.
The aim and object of organizing such an event is to give the locals an opportunity to partake in their religious obligations, which has earned the army a healthy rapport and reputation with the locals in this area, beside it helps in strengthening the existing bond between the public and security forces, beside also helps in strengthening the secular and harmonious spirit of brotherhood among the communities.
Commanding Officer 9 Sector RR Kishtwar R L Prashad interacted wholeheartedly with the locals during the course of the Ifitar Party, which was appreciated by one and all.
