SRINAGAR, Aug 26: Government has ordered transfer of 44 lecturers of Jammu Government Colleges of different streams including English, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Economics, Education, Hindi, Sociology, Political Science and Sanskrit along with their posts with immediate effect.
These lecturers have been transferred because they has become surplus because of the decrease of enrolment of students during the academic session 2011-12 and also dispensing of evening colleges. Further, 14 posts of lecturers including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Electronics, Geography, English, Hindi and Music of GGM Science (Evening) College, Jammu and MAM (Evening) College, Jammu have been transferred to GGM Science College, Jammu and MAM College, Jammu for the purpose of drawal of salary of lecturers who shall work from regular colleges
