Laugh riot Biwi-O-Biwi draws unprecedented applause

Jammu,Aug 26:- In its Friday series, Nav Durga Kala Manch came up with a hilarious comedy play “Biwi-o-Biwi based on the daily anecdotes of a couple where woman power is shown as riding upon male bastion.

The play directed by Aaditya Bhanu was a direct satire on the man woman relation when the latter part overrides on the male dominance and makes her husband play to the tune of her commands.

The central core theme of the play was based on a routine affair in a household where a man is seen bucked under the pressure of his wife who is quite extravagant in contrast to her husband who is very miser and tries to escape from his spendthrift wife.

In the process he is seen obeying all commands of his wife who trains several guns on his husband while keeping him under his control.

Various hilarious pieces are enacted in the course that generate laughter besides giving a message across that though there is general perception about the women being discriminated in the society rules on the male dominance when a given chance.

Tarun Sudershan Vasson as the main central character as the henpecked husband brought up the lively performance and was titled as ‘man of the match’ award by the select audience present ob the occasion.

Reetu Manhas as the shrewd wife gave a scintillating performance and of late has groomed as one of the best talents in the field of theatrics.

Deepak Jamwal in his cameo appearance too equally supported the performance that was almost a laugh riot.
Dilshad Shazi. Anil Kotwal. Mudassar Bukahri , Saurav Verma, Sakshi Dogra and Anjana Paudwal made up the strong team in Biwi-O-Biwi.

Music was done by Rajeev Rana, lights by Rakesh Dogra and make up was taken care of by Reetu Manhas.

Shashi Bhushan’ who did the presentation gave the story line idea which was innovatively made up by the Aaditya and his team.
