Govt taking exemplary measures to revive development profile of J&K: Bhalla | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Aug 26: Minister for Revenue Raman Bhalla has said that government has taken various exemplary measures for improving living standard of poor sections of the society by providing all civic amenities in their respective basties. This was stated by the Minister while interacting with locals after launching Rs. 13 lakh development projects at Upper Barzalla in Satwari block, here today. Bhalla assured the residents of Upper Barzalla village that all their development related demands would be fulfilled in a phased manner adding that there is no constraint of funds in providing all infrastructural facilities to them at par with urban pockets. He said that government was determined to provide better basic amenities to the people of the state adding that for this purpose, government has introduced several modern projects across the State to meet the basic requirements of the people. Minister stressed upon the concerned engineers and officers to redouble their efforts and accelerate pace on all ongoing works to ensure its completion within stipulated time frame. He directed them to use quality material in execution of the works, adding that the objective of the government is to build durable basic infrastructure for providing better civic facilities to the people. Minister said that government has taken exemplary measures to refresh overall developmental profile of the State. He said sectors like PHE, health, R&B, education, tourism, power among other sectors have received focused attention of the Government adding it was due to its pro-people policy that the masses at present are benefited by quality education, healthcare, drinking water, electricity and road connectivity.
