| Home Ministry refutes army | | LeT Militant killed not involved in Delhi blasts | | Srinagar, Dec 2 The union home Ministry has refuted the army's claim that LeT militant killed at Saloosa Kreeri on Friday last was wanted in connection with Delhi serial blasts. It is in place to mention here that LeT's Deputy Commander Ali Baba alias Abu Hafiza was killed in encounter with 29 RR at Saloosa Kreeri in Baramulla district on Friday last. An army spokesman Colonel A.K Mathur had claimed that Ali Baba was kingpin of serial blasts carried out in Delhi in October 2005 during which 67 people were killed. Refuting army's claim, the Union Home ministry said the king pin of 2005 Delhi serial blast Abu Hazifa was killed in a joint operation by sleuth of Jammu & Kashmir Police, Delhi Police and Central Security agencies at Khore Pattan in January this year. Giving more clarifications, the Union Home Ministry has said that Abdullah Bhai alias Abu Hazifa, the king pin of 2005 Delhi serial blasts was killed on January 16 this year and many mobile SIM cards were recovered from him. The SIM cards, according to Union home Ministry, authenticated the involvement of Abu Hazifa in 2005 Delhi serial blasts during the course of investigation. It is in place to mention here that Joint Commissioner of the Special Cell of Delhi Police has also claimed that Abu Hazifa was the king pin of 2005 Delhi serial blasts.
