| TB Control training for NGOs, volunteers held at Pandrethan | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, Aug 27: J&K Voluntary Health Association organised training for NGOs & volunteers of Srinagar, Budgam, Pulwama & Baramulla districts for control of TB.
The programme was organized in collaboration with state TB Control Organisation and was held at JKVHA office located at Pandrethan, Srinagar.
Those who spoke on the occasion included G.M. Chuloo district Tuberculosis Officer, Srinagar, Tasneem Syed, WHO consultant and Abdul Majeed, associate professor SKIMS.
A.M. Mir, executive director JKVHA informed that a state level function will be organised in the 1st week of September at Srinagar with all the stake holders regarding TB care and control for which resource persons have been identified from Delhi.
107 participants from various NGOs, volunteers and health workers participated in the training programme and pledged to work for reducing the spread of TB in Kashmir Valley. |
