| Omar highlights significance of Shab-e-Qadar | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Aug 27: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has underlined significance of Shab-e-Qadar for being unique and holy night Almighty Allah chose to reveal The Holy Quran to his Prophet Muhammad (SAW) for the guidance of the mankind. In his message on the eve of Shab-e-Qadar being observed as intervening night of 26th and 27th Day of Ramdhan, the month of fast in the Islamic calendar, the Chief Minister said that the occasion provides opportunity to us to spend the night in praying and seeking forgiveness from Allah. Omar Abdullah wished prosperity and peace to the State and betterment of the people. He expressed ope that the holy night would bring Allah’s blessings and munificence to all.
