| Prachin Huanuman Mandir Trust condoles death of priest | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 27: Management committee of the Prachin Huanuman Mandir Trust, Moti Bazar, Sabzi Mandi, Jammu, has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the untimely passing away of Dushyant Sharma, Head Priest of the Temple yesterday.
In this connection, a condolence meeting was held under the chairmanship of President of management committee and former Deputy Commissioner, B. S. Jamwal here today. All those present in the condolence meeting recalled the qualities of head and heart of late Dushyant Sharma and lauded his contribution in religious, social and cultural spheres.
A 2-minute silence was observed and the committee expressed solidarity with the bereaved family members for the irreparable loss. The meeting also prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul. Meanwhile, all the functions in connection with the celebration of the Installation Day of Panchmukhi Hanuman idols at Temple scheduled for August 31, 2011 have been cancelled.
The mortal remains of late. Dushyant Sharma were consigned to the flames at Jogi Gate cremation ground here this afternoon in which hundreds of people from various walks of life, including religious, social, cultural, political, trade and business, media, relatives, friends and nears and admirers bid adieu to Sharma.
