| Assistant librarian accorded affectionate farewell | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Aug 27: District Information Centre Udhampur and its subordinate units including staff accorded warm and affectionate farewell to Assistant Librarian Racchpal Sharma serving in the office of Joint Director of Information, Jammu on his superannuation function organized at District Information Centre, Udhampur, today.
Joint Director of Information, Jammu, Soujanya Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, Sharma lauded the tireless and dedicated services of Racchpal who by dint of his hard work and devotion to services won the hearts of every official of the department. He said that a great vacuum has been created over his retirement which would hardly be fulfilled.
District Information Officer, Udhampur, Dr. Jagdish Mehra in his remarks described the retiree a gem in the department. He wished him a long and happy retired life. On the occasion, Joint Director of Information, District Information Officer and other officials presented the retiring official a shawl and memento as token of love.
Among others, Assistant Information Officer (Retd.) Romesh Sharma, Section Officer, Joint Directorate of Information, Jammu, R.K. Bhalla and exhibition Assistant, Roop Lal were also present. |
