| JKFFA celebrates Bhagat Singh’s birth anniversary | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 27:
To commemorate the birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, J&K Freedom Fighters Association (JKFFA), today organised a function at Ved Mandir (Bal Niketan) Ambphalla, Jammu.
The members besides Charandeep Singh, Asstt Commissioner (Revenue) Jammu Municipal Corporation paid floral tributes to Bhagat Singh.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhushan Lal Gupta and Ved strongly appreciated the efforts of Anna Hazare his crusade against corruption. They said that people of the state were also fed up by the corrupt leadership and corrupt system in the state and were whole- heartedly with the fight of Anna Hazare against corruption. They strongly condemned the attitude of the central Government, which is trying to create one hurdle after the other in passing the Jan Lokpal Bill.
They also asked the young generation to always be prepared to help the elders and never shrink from their duties towards Nation.
On the occasion, sweets were also distributed among those present on the occasion.
The others who participated were M R Bangotra, Ajit Singh Adyal, Rajinder Bhagat, Dr Vijay Bhagat and Amrit Sagar. |
