Transports demands inclusion committee

President, J&K Motors Transport Companies Association, JKMTCA Daleep Singh Raina in a meeting here today said that on the orders of the High Court that Commercial Vehicles of more than 25 years of service able could not be allowed to operate in the state, and added that the matter is under consideration of High Court. He said the court is waiting for the recommendation of member committee constituted by the govt in this regard.
It was pointed out in the meeting that the member has been incorporated in the committee on behalf of Jammu Transports who has no knowledge on the subject as well as the hight of the transports beside being non-state subject.
The meeting demanded that a person from Kashmir Transport be also included in the said committee. The meeting also desired that chairman of transports joint Action Committee, J.S. Wazir be also considered for inclusion in the said committee.
It was also enphasised in the meeting that all the vehicle be allowed to ply after obtaining fitness certificate from the conclusion deptt.
