| 3 of a family held for allegedly attempting to burn woman | | | JAMMU: Three members of a family, including two brothers, were Friday evening apprehended by police for their alleged attempt to burn a woman at Bhour Camp near Satwari here.
Police sources said Neetu Sharma, wife of Sanjay Sharma of ward No 2, Bhour Camp, lodged a complaint with Satwari police station against three members of a family, alleging therein that they had tried to burn her by dousing her with kerosene oil.
Acting on her complaint, police arrested all the accused. They were identified as Rakesh Kumar, Shashi Paul, both sons of Puran Chand, and Shashi's son Vishal.
They were booked under sections 452, 307 and 34 of RPC. |
