| SIEF criticize samba district administration for not implementing ban on polythene | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu. Aug 28: With the continuous efforts to make country polythene free, activist of (SIEF) Speak India Environmental Foundation and Sarna Nehru youth club Samba organized a press conference.
While speaking on this occasion Sunil Sharma the chairman of the SIEF organization said that district administration Samba has failed to impose the ban on polythene as polythene destroy the entire ecosystem while the shopkeepers of the Samba distt are selling the polythene in the markets without any fear as they violate the order issued by the court and the Govt.
He further directed the municipal committees /council to make surprise visits in the markets an take a strict action against the culprit
Khem Raj ,district president of Samba of the (SIEF) and founder of the Sarna Nehru youth club said that the it is the duty of the distt administration /municipal committees/council to make surprise visit in the markets to make city polythene free. He further directed and warned the official of the municipal/council/committee, pollution control department to work more hard in this regards to make city clean and green. Sharma appealed the people of the near by areas to plant more trees and not to use the polythene.
