Bhim Singh demanded release of all political prisoners and general amnesty to all those arrested during militancy as EID Gift to the people of J&K.

Coming out of support of Anna Hazare, Chief of the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Forum Pandit Bhushan Bazaz has said that Gandhian's campaign against corruption has empowered common man and brought a realization upon him that he can be an "agent of change" in the society.
In a letter to Anna Hazare today, Bazaz appreciated his "singular effort" to galvanize entire nation of the issue of fighting corruption, which has spread to every organ of the society like a "cancer". "I dare say that your clarion call has stirred our nation in a manner that is reminiscent of our Independence struggle, when young and old, rich and the poor selflessly dedicated themselves for success of a movement that shaped our future.
Recalling Anna that he made a similar appeal to the people of J&K state 10 years ago from the valley, against human right violation, but at that time Farooq Abdullah’s government suppressed move and Anna along with the team was deported.
