| 12O patients examined for cancer related ailments in 18th free medical camp | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, August 28: In the 18th free medical camp organized by Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust, one hundred twenty patients suffering from cancer related ailments were examined by the renowned Oncologist of the country, Dr. Ashok Vaid.
Free medical camps organized by Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust are held every month, at the spacious residential premises of Shri Pawan Kumar Shastri, President Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust. This was the 15th visit of Dr. Ashok Vaid, Chairman Institute of Oncology Medinta- The Medicity, Gurgaon, to give free check up and consultation to cancer patients.
Besides free medical check up and consultation given to 120 cancer related patients, today, Dr. Ashok Vaid also distributed free prescribed medicines to fifty poor patients. The patients and their attendants, during the wait for their turn were also served water and• snacks by Shri Pawan Shastri.
Shri Pawan Shastri disclosed that outdoor health facility centre is being setup by Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust, fully equipped with X-ray equipment, Ultra-sound and other necessary aids. |
