| KC Gurukul hosts three day long “ Late Shri Mahajan Memorial’ Cricket tournament | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, August 28: KC Gurukul Public School Paloura hosted 3 Days "Late She Satish Mahajan Memorial Under-IS Cricket Tournament", where in 12 CBSE Affiliated Schools namely Army Public School Domana, BSF School, GD Goenka Public School, JK Public School, JP World School, Heritage Public School ,Banyan International School, KC Public School, Jodhamal Public School, KC International School, KCGPS Udhampur and KCGPS Plaoura participated in the Tournament.
Johny Williams IPS DIG Armed Police Jammu province was the chief guest on the occasion. Speaking to the students, he stressed upon the nurturing of sports talent amongst the children to make them compete not only at national level but at international level.
To begin the final match of this tournament floral tributes were paid towards the ex-patron by the Chief Guest Johny Williams.
The tournament was played with an objective of creating the spirit of true sportsmanship in the budding cricket lovers of the state. The final match was played between KC Public school and JP World School.
JP World School lifted the Champions trophy while as KC Public school was declared as the runners up. Prize distribution was done by the chief guest on the occasion. |
