| Over 2 kg poppy straw seized, one held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 28:
Police in Jammu city has seized 2.200 kilograms of poppy straw by arresting a person.
According to police spokesman, the arrested has been identified as Sunil Kumar son of Prem Singh of ward number 3, R S Pura.
The accused was nabbed when he was noticed by SHO Police Station City, Vishal Sharma while on patrolling at SMGS Hospital road, roaming in suspicious circumstances.
A case FIR No. 98/2011 under section 8/15/ NDPS was registered against him in this connection. |
