| Protest against Farooq's remarks | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KISHTWAR: People here today protested against union minister Farooq Abdullah's remarks which he made at Ahmedabad yesterday and also raised objectionable slogans.
Speaking at a function at Ahmedabad in which Gujarat chief minister Narender Modi was also present, Farooq had made some remarks which has irked a section of people in Kishtwar on account of which they register their protest. His speech evoked sharp response in the town here, with people saying that he had played with their sentiments. The protesters also raised objectionable slogans. They later dispersed.
