| Shiv Sena protests misappropriation of ration, K Oil | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Aug 29: Shiv Sena held a demonstration to lodge its protest against the misappropriation of ration and Kerosene Oil in several parts of district Kathua.
The massive protest was held in front of the DC office complex under the leadership of district president Shiv Sena Narinder Tangri.
Alleging that the office of the Assistant Director Food, Kathua is involved in the smuggling of food and kerosene oil sanctioned for the people of Kathua, the protesters burnt an effigy of the AD Food.
Addressing the protesting Shiv Sainiks, Tangri said that the Shiv Sena activists has conducted several visits at the various ration depots and found most of them sold the public ration and kerosene oil to traders and no action has been taken by the concerned department in this direction because all are involved in such corrupt practices.
He said recently 30 bags of wheat flour of a ration depot were seized by the police in Kathua. The Shiv Sena urged the district administration to take strong and stern action to investigate the misappropriation of kerosene oil and ration. |
