| 2 ABVP activists hurt in clash at GGM Science College | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 29: Two ABVP activists were wounded in a clash with a rival group of students at GGM Science College here today.
Police said the rival group was opposed to the ABVP move to hold elections to form its college unit.
Over this issue, there were heated arguments between the two sides today. The situation, however, worsned when the two sides clashed, resulting in injuries to two ABVP activists.
The injured were identified as Vipan Sharma, son of Baldev Sharma, and Raghav Sharma, son of Krishan Dutt, both residents of Vidyarathi Bhavan, Parade Ground. They were admitted to the GMC hospital.
Acting swiftly, a police party from Canal police post arrested two of the accused from the college premises. They included Rohit Sharma, son of Madan Lal Sharma of Udhampur, and Angad Kumar, son of Som Nath of Darshopur, Miran Sahib. Both are B.Sc. Part I students.
Police had registered a case against them.
