DC distributes Rs 30,000 among hail storm affected families

KUPWARA, Aug 30:
The Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, M S Rather accompanied with a team of officers visited Wagball village of Tehsil Kupwara where the hail storm and natural calamities lashes the Agriculture and Horticulture in the area.
The Deputy Commissioner distributed Rs 30,000 among the sufferers of the area as ex-gratia relief under National calamity fund and instructed the Revenue, Horticulture and Agriculture Departments to conduct a survey and submit the report within a week’s time so that relief to the sufferers may be managed.
