UDHAMPUR, Aug 30:
Association of Industries (AOI), Udhampur yesterday hosted an Iftaar Party on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul- Fitar at Dak Banglow Udhampur.
The Deputy Commissioner (DC), Udhampur, Baseer Ahmed Khan was the chief guest while Deputy Inspector General of Police, Udhampur- Reasi range, Jagjit Kumar was the guest of honour on the occasion.
Extending greetings to the Muslim brethren, the DC said that such religious occasions inspire us to follow the spiritual preaching of great saints and Sufis, who sacrificed their lives for the cause of humanity, to lead a peaceful and prosperous life.
Among others, Chief Planning Officer, Udhampur, H H Dutt, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Gurvinderjeet Singh, Additional SP, Udhampur Rajinder Gupta, President, Association of Industries, Udhampur, Sunil Verma, Sr. Vice President, AOI, Udhey Veer Singh, General Secretary, AOI, Vice President, AOI and a good number of distinguished personalities attended the Iftaar. |
