| CMO Doda conducts surprise inspection | | Initiates enquiry, suspends five absentees | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
DODA, Aug 30:
Chief Medical Officer, Doda Dr. Mohd. Iqbal Zargar after assuming the charge of CMO Doda paid a surprise visit to the Government Health Institutions of Block Bhaderwah and Ghat and placed five officials under suspension for being unauthorized absent from duty.
Chief Medical Officer inspected AD Pranoo, PHC Bhalla, S/C Dradu, AD Gatha and CHC Bhaderwah, during inspection Dr. Suhail Anjum Medical Officer, Girdhari Lal Senior Pharmacist, Parveen Begum FMPHW of AD Pranoo, Mumta Devi FMPHW of S/C Dradu and Indra Devi FMPHW of AD Gatha were found absent from duty . Taking a serious note of the CMO Doda placed the absentee officials under suspension for being unauthorizedly absent from duty while as the show cause notices were also issued against the absentee staff.
Meanwhile, the pay dues of all the absentee staff (Doctors/Paramedics) Dr. Suhail Anjum Medical Officer, Girdhari Lal Senior Pharmacist, Parveen Begum FMPHW of AD Pranoo, Mumta Devi FMPHW of S/C Dradu and Indra Devi FMPHW of AD Gatha has been kept withheld pending enquiry. CMO gave strong directions to the doctors and paramedics to be punctual in their respective places/institutions. He enjoined upon all the staff to carry out their duties with devotion, dedication and professionalism.
