| Kerosene dealer, among two, arrested | | |

In continuation to its drive against black marketing and hoarding, Police today sealed one Kerosene Oil depot in Kishtwar and arrested two persons including the dealer for black marketing of kerosene oil meant for the people of the area.
A Police spokesman said that on a specific information that the K Oil dealer at Girinagar Kishtwar is selling K.oil to matador drivers, a raid was conducted under the supervision of Inspector Munish Anand SHO P/S Kishtwar .
During the raid, the dealer namely Ishtiaq Ahmed son of Nazir Ahmed of Girinagar was caught red handed while selling kerosene to one matador driver namely Nisar Ahmed son of Bashir Ahmed of Hullar for use in the vehicle. Both the dealer as well as the driver were arrested and 40 litres of kerosene being sold illegally was also seized from the spot and the depot was sealed and records seized .A Case FIR NO 249/2006 u/s 407 RPC, 3/7 Essential Commodities Act registered against the alleged accused and investigation was in progress, the spokesman said
