Continuing its drive against the menace of distillation of illicit liquor and its sale, SHO Police Station R S Pura conducted a raid at village Gazipur Kullian during the intervening night of 1-2 December under the supervision of SSP border Jammu and SDPO R S Pura.
During raid 20 litres of illicit liquor was recovered and seized on the spot from the possession of one Smt Pushpa Devi wife of late Girdhari Lal resident of Gazipur. FIR under section 48-F of Excise Act was registered and investigation taken up, the SSP Border said.
