JAMMU, Aug 30: The High Court today ordered promotions and transfers of judicial officers.
According to order No 474 issued by registrar general J R Kotwal, Sanjay Kumar Gupta, 4th additional district judge, Srinagar, is transferred and posted as member of special tribunal, Jammu. He would, however, report to high court, Jammu, against the post of district judge leave reserve till retirement of Hari Om Singh on September 30, 2011.
Yash Pal Bourney, CJM Srinagar, is promoted as district judge and posted as principal district and sessions judge, Leh, against an available vacancy. Jaffer Hussain Beig, joint registrar judicial high court, Jammu, on his promotion as district judge is posted as additional district judge, anti-corruption, Jammu, against an available vacancy.
Ashok Kumar, CJM, Doda, is promoted as district judge and posted as 4th additional district and sessions, judge, Srinagar. CJM, Jammu, Mohan Singh Parihar is promoted as district judge and posted as principal district and sessions judge, Kulgam, against an available vacancy.
Mohammad Ibrahim Wani, CJM, Bandipora, is promoted as district judge and posted as additional district and sessions judge, Srinagar, against an available vacancy. Sham Lal Lalhal, CJM, Rajouri, is promoted as district judge and posted as 1st additional district and sessions judge, Srinagar, against an available vacancy.
Mohammad Ashraf Malik, CJM, Pulwama, is promoted as district judge and posted as additional district judge, TADA/POTA, Srinagar, against an available vacancy. Kousar Ahmad Qureshi, CJM, Sopore on his promotion as district judge is posted as 1st additional district and sessions judge against an available vacancy.
Ravinder Nath Wattal, sub-judge, electricity magistrate, Jammu, on his promotion as district judge is posted as additional district and sessions judge, Jammu, against an available vacancy. Mohinder Kumar Sharma, CJM, Udhampur, on his promotion as district judge is posted as additional district and sessions judge, Anantnag, against an available Vacancy.
Zubair Ahmed Raza, sub-judge, Nowshera, on his promotion as district judge is posted as additional district judge, Rajouri, against an available vacancy. Madan Lal, CJM, Kupwara, on his promotion as district judge is posted as 2nd additional district and sessions judge, Srinagar, against an available vacancy.

Kalpana Revo, sub-judge, Ramban, is transferred and posted as CJM, Reasi, in place of O P Thakur who goes to Nowshera as sub-judge. Ritesh Kumar Dubey, sub-judge, Valloo, has been transferred and posted as sub-judge, Katra, replacing Kamlesh Pandita who is posted as sub-judge, Bhaderwah.
C L Bavoria, sub-judge, Bhaderwah, has been transferred and posted as CJM, Srinagar, while Javid Ahmed Geelani, CJM, Baramulla, is transferred and posted as CJM, Sopore.
Mohammad Amin Mir, municipal magistrate, Srinagar, has been transferred and posted as CJM, Anantnag. Mohammad Rafiq Chak, sub-judge, Jammu, is transferred and posted as CJM, Shopian.
While Suneet Gupta, CJM, Shopian, is transferred and posted CJM, Doda, Abul Nasir, city judge, Srinagar, is transferred and posted as city judge, Jammu. Surinder Singh, city judge, Jammu, is transferred and posted as CJM, Kulgam.
