Body exhumed, DNA-re- collected | | | surankote: After getting written permission from District Magistrate Poonch, Police has exhumed dead body of the person killed in fake encounter in Harri Buddha area of Surankote on August 6. The samples were collected by a team of three doctors of Sub District Hospital Surankote. As per reports, District Magistrate Poonch Ajeet Kumar Sahu has given written permission to Poonch Police to dig up the grave of person killed in fake encounter in Harri Buddha allegedly by an SPO Noor Mohammad and TA Jawan Abdul Majeed after picking the person from Rajouri area. The exhuming was carried out in presence of Magistrate, Senior Police Officers and Locals at about 1:30 pm. After digging up the grave, doctors collected samples and then locals re-buried the body. It is pertinent to mention here that Hyderabad Forensic Laboratory has returned the blood samples taken out from the body terming these samples as rotten. Following receiving the information, Poonch Police sought permission for exhuming the body from District Magistrate who gave the go-ahead on Tuesday on which police opened the grave and took out the samples for DNA test. Meanwhile, locals and claimants of the body performed Nimaz-i-Jinah of the body and then bury it after performing all Muslim rites. Police said that the samples will be handed over to the FSL Hyderabad on Wednesday by sending a team of police men and health officials. |
