NSF stage protest demonstration against VC for not coming out with results on time

Jammu, Aug 31: Agitated over the lack of response from the Controller of Examination and OSD non-professionalism on the issue of non-declaration of results of the Department of Mathematic, Sociology, Political Science, Hindi, Education, History, and English of Jammu University.
NSF stageed protest demonstion against VC for none functioning of examination Wing.
It charged that JU has not come up with the result of exams which were held 9-10 months back.
Large number of NSF activists shouted slogans against the VC, Controller of Examination and OSD Non-Professional.

On the occasion state president NSF Vikas Sharma who led the students with other NSF activists said that every department has started internal assessment of 1st and 3rd semester but till today the result of 95% department is delayed.

Sharma said that exams of MA Hindi, Mathematic, Sociology, Political Science, Education, History and English were held in the month of Nov-Dec but so far the examination Wing has failed in coming with the result.
He said that university is implementing the academic calendar but has failed in declaring the result as per the calendar.


He said that it is easy to make academic calendar but to implement it, it needs proper management. He said that university has failed at all fronts in managing management properly.
He added that examination calendar is being forcibly being followed by the university. He said that where syllabus of the students is not completed the exams are being taken.

He added that Controller Examination wing has also not taken any step in resolving the problem. He said this will not be tolerated and NSF is going to start agitation in this regard.

Among those who were present in the protest included, Surjit Choudhary, Ravi Choudhary, Rohit Sharma, Rahul Sharma, Sukdev Singh, Balveer Kumar, Sunil Kumar, Parshotam, Manjit Singh, Raj Kumar, and others.
