JAMMU, Aug 31:To celebrate its 36th foundation day, Adbi Kunj, held another multifaceted literary and musical (singing) meet at New Shastri Memorial Higher Secondary School, Talab Tillo here today
The meet was presided over by a famous educationist Dr R K Sehgal, while another, renowned, Dogri Poet and Singer Mohan Lal Kumal was the Chief Guest of the Meet.
In his inaugural address, Sham Talib, President of the organization, described the occasion as monumental. He said we always look forward to such opportunities, as Adbi Kunj paid rich TRIBUTES to veteran Urdu poet Ahmad Faraz on his 3rd death anniversary, Tributes to International motherhood personality, Mother Teressa, on her birth anniversaries.
The presentations were highly discussed and appreciated. In the poetic session poets also recited their different kalams on the various aspects of Bhagat Singh the great freedom fighter and the movement of Anna Hazare. The poets included, R.K. Sehgal, Mohan Lal Komal, Santosh Nadan, Smt. Chanchal Dogra, Taiyab Bharti, Muni Lal Puri, Dr. Bharat Bhushan Gupta, Sanjeev Kumar, Gurbaksh Talib, K.L. Dewana, Ved Upal, Rajeshwar Bhakhri- Romesh Rahi, Rajeev Kumar, M.S. Kamra, Sushil Begana and Sham Talib.
