| Journalistic fraternity expresses great satisfaction | | Bhawan authorizes BB Institute to run its courses in Jammu | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Aug 31: Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan’s Rajinder Prasad Institute of Communication & Management, Mumbai has granted affiliation to B B Institute of Journalism & Mass Communication to run its PG Programmes here from the academic session 2011-12.
The B B Institute of Communication & Management has been authorized to run three courses i.e. PG Diploma in Journalism, Journalism & Mass Communication. This is to mention here that all the above said courses are being offered by Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan in Jammu after a gap of two years.
Further, there is no other institute in Jammu that offers professional training to the youth desirous of pursuing career in the field of Journalism and Mass Communication. The entire media fraternity has expressed satisfaction and pleasure over this matter.
Expressing happiness over the grant of affiliation, the Chairman of the Institute, Pankaj Sangral said, “Students of Jammu have opportunity to gain maximum out of the three courses. The courses in the field of Journalism and Public Relation have immense potential vis-à-vis availability of job opportunities.” The students who want to pursue teaching career in the field of Journalism and Public Relation have the opportunity to take lateral entry admission in Guru Jambeshwar University, Hissar for completion of Masters Degree. |
