Bhawan authorizes B.B Institute to conduct P.G Diploma Journalism course | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Sept 1: Prestigious Bhavan’s Rajendra Prasad Institute of Communication & Management, Mumbai has authorized B.B Institute of Journalism and Mass Communication, Jammu, a unit of Bishan Bimla Education Trust to conduct its Journalism Diploma course. As per the statement, B.B Institute will offer one year Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication at its institute at Shastri Nagar. B.B Institute was already offering the courses in Journalism since it was established in 2009 and association with the Mumbai based institute had added more feathers to its cap. Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan was established in 1938 by Kulapati Dr. K.M. Munshi, looked upon the Bhavan as an 'Adventure in Faith', a faith in India's past, present and future. It is also a faith in India's people who have a rich and unbroken cultural heritage. Bhavan’s Rajendra Prasad Institute of Communication & Management was established in 1961 with the objective of providing professional education in Communication and Management disciplines. The Institute has 54 Constituent Colleges spread all over India with Head quarters at Mumbai. It has been accorded the prestigious status as the Institution of National Eminence by the Government of India in recognition of Bhavan's six decades of service in the field of education, culture and human well-being. Bhavan's College of Communication and Management is managed by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Thrissur Kendra, one of the Constituent Colleges conducting Diploma and Post-Graduate Diploma programmes and short term job oriented certificate courses. On the other hand B.B Institute is imparting students with board range of skills and concepts involving the gathering, editing and presentation of information and prepares them for a career in journalism. At the institute, students get practical experience of all tools needed in journalism. It has a highly trained and trained professionals with many of the prominent journalists have been engaged as guest faculties.
