Administration biased towards party activists, alleges Cong | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT SAMBA, Sep 1:Congress alleged today that the Samba district administration has adopted a biased approach towards the party activists as it is continuously ignoring their genuine problems. In the monthly meeting of Congress workers held at Vijaypur, the leaders and panch-sarpanches having affiliation with the party discussed their problems and accused local administration for deliberately ignoring its activists. The meeting was organized under the chairmanship of Block President Capt. Amarnath Bhatti to highlight the problems of the party activists. Former Minister and senior Congress leader Manjit Singh was chief guest on the occasion. While addressing the meeting, former Minister Manjit Singh appealed the Congress workers to remain united and work for strengthening the party. He also said that if administration continues its biased attitude towards Congress workers, they will be forced to start dharnas and choose agitational path. District Vice president Babal Gupta, Sarpanch Sukhjinder Singh, Prempal Singh, Brijpal Singh Gogi, Naib Sarpanch Rammurti Sharma, Kailash kumari, Ex. Sarpanch Gurjit Singh, Bachan Singh, Ex. President MC Bari-Pushpraj, Ex. Beopaar mandal president Satish Chander, Capt. Harnam Singh, Gautam Singh and several other leaders were also present in the meeting.
