Interactive session in career counseling and guidance at KC Public school | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, September 1: An interactive session in career counseling and guidance was held at KC Public School on August 30, 2011 for the students of classes XI and XII.
Binny Arora, a graduate from Nottingham University Business School, UK, and working as a senior executive for Price water house Coopers LLP, a global British company, was the key resource person.
Arora dwelt at length on careers in the field of Finance, Accounting and Management in the global scenario and underpinned the credibility and employability factors involved in securing a degree in Finance, Accounting and Management from institutions such as Nottingham University Business School.
He apprised the students of the fact that Nottingham University is considered among the Global top 100 Universities with its campuses in China and Malaysia also.
His hour long presentation covered all the salient aspects of Nottingham University in general and its business school in particular, highlighting relevant areas such as various courses and their contents, the infrastructure of facilities at the University and the costs involved in securing a degree from its Business School.
The students of KC Public School participated in the interactive session with enthusiasm, showing a great deal of interest in facilities for higher education in the UK. They asked a variety of questions on various issues related to their prospective career plans and on Nottingham University and the courses offered by it.
Arjun Chowdhary, an active member of the school management and himself a graduate from Nottingham University, was also present on the occasion.
