The meeting was presided over by T D Langeh state president while Rattan Lal Chargotra was guest of honour on the occasion.
Bahujan Samaj Party have taken a very serious view on the plight of backward classes as in recent past, the party conducted various meetings of backward classes in almost each and every district of Jammu province. It is gathered from the views expressed by large section of OBC that they have lost faith in ruling elite parties of state, in respect of non-adhering to the constitutional rights since last 65 years.
BSP strongly urged the other backward class of J&K to support/ join BSP in unitedly and get share according to their population for election to corporations Municipalities, legislative assembly and Parliament, which is only way to mitigate their problems. BSP has decided to organize convention seminars, rallies in a big way.
