| Gupta takes stock of Jammu West people’s problems | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sep 1: Member Legislative Assembly, Prof Chaman Lal Gupta while visiting various wards of Jammu West Constituency took stock of the problems being faced by the people.
The officials of ERA and PHE were also present and briefed about the developmental works being done for the Jammu West Constituency. On recommendations of Prof. Gupta 12 tube wells and 13 OHTs are established under ERA Loan-1 package to facilitate the water supply in the Jammu West Constituency.
On recommendations of Prof. Gupta ERA has transferred additional amount of Rs. 1.64 crore to P.H.E for replacement of pumps and dedicated electric feeders.
While visiting various wards of Jammu West Constituency Prof. Gupta interacted with people about their problems of water shortage. On spot instructions were given to the officials of PHE for providing dedicated feeder of electricity for pumping of adequate water to cover the water shortage.
During the visit Omprakash (Kaku), Murari Lal, Tripta Jamwal, Rajinder Gupta, Prashant Puri, Greesham Gurtoo, Ravi Dogra, Ajay Manhas, Vivek Raja, Arun Khanna, Ashok Gandhi and Ajay Sharma also accompanied Professor Gupta.
