18 injured as matadors collide head on

EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sep 1: At least 18 persons received injuries, two of them critical, in a head on collision of two mini buses that took place in village Sunauila, 8 kilometres away from Akhnoor city here today.

The mishap occurred when drivers of both the matadors bearing registration number JK02M-4637 and JK02R-0287 were talking over phone and lost concentration. The injured were rushed to the government hospital, Akhnoor, from where two women whose condition was stated to be critical were rushed to GMC hospital for advanced treatment. They have been identified as Chanchala Devi of Kanachak and Lajya Devi of Dhayan. Police have registered a case in this connection.
