| Insurance Week from September 1-7 | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, September 1: Nilesh Sathe, Zonal Manager of LIC Northern Zone along with eminent Doctor, Dr. Sonia Malik , member of Zonal Advisory Board inaugurated the week long Insurance week celebrations coinciding with the 55th anniversary of LIC from September 1 to September 7.
The same will be celebrated in all the 17 Divisions of LIC North Zone covering its 320 Branches and 154 satellite offices.
The celebrations commencing on LIC Day September 1 2011 this year has the theme of “ Join the LIC family” . The activities are focused in such a manner that the message and importance of Insurance is understood by the younger generation.
The activities on the first day included hoisting of the Corporate flag, playing of the Corporate anthem, inauguration of an exhibition related to LIC activities, planting of trees, flagging off of the LIC van which will visit the rural areas to spread the message of Insurance etc.
During the week other activities like live interactive programme on Doordarshan on September 2 of Zonal manager, distribution of students kit in the primary section of two schools , health check up and quiz / writing competition for employees followed by the closing ceremony and prize distribution on the September 7 will also be conducted.
