| NPSU held protest against Omar’s statement on Afzal Guru | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, September 1: National Panther Students Union (NPSU) took a serious note regarding the statement of Omar Abdullah (CM J&K) regarding the Afzal Guru and held massive protest demonstration against him.
Early morning the activist of NPSU gathered in the old university campus and raised slogans against Omar Abdullah. The protest was led by Rohit Verma (NPSU leader). Addressing the students Verma said that the decision of the court is very much with the justice and thus the sentence should be made applicable as soon as possible, so that other such miscreants learn a lesson and no one takes the courage to do such kind of activities in future. The delay in the implementation of punishment of Afzal Guru is a black dot on our constitution and the court.
Speaking on the occasion Partap Singh Jamwal (Provincial President NPSU) said that the congress government is solely responsible for the delay in the punishment of Afzal Guru.
The congress government is unnecessarily making it a political issue which is not called for by such a political party. They are not only making mockery for satisfying their political need but also cheating the people of India.
Jamwal said that such kind of statements is not accepted from a person who is on the esteemed posts of CM, and he must understand the gravity of the issue. He is speaking the words of the separatists and encouraging the anti-nationalist elements.
After this NPSU activist torched the effigy of Omar Abdullah and raised slogans against him and termed him as pro militants.
Other who were present in this protest including Lovekesh Gondi, Sunil Mandala, Atul suddan, Rahul Sharma, Angat Sharma, Mohit Sharma, B P Singh, Rohit Sharma, etc.
