One overground worker of Hizbul Mujahideen was arrested in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir today, police sources said.
On a tip-off, police arrested Hizbul OGW Sardar Mohammad from Sherekhi area of Bhaderwah tehsil in Doda district, they said.
During search, police recovered 56 AK rounds, letter pads of the outfit and letters written by one Hizbul militant Riaz, presently putting in a training camp across the border, they said.
The OGW's brother-in-law -- self-styled deputy district commander of Hizbul Zubair Ahmed -- was killed on April 23 this year in Doda, the sources said. |
