| BJP MLA’s vehicle registered in name of industry owned by PDP leader | | |

Kishtwar Sept 02: A BJP MLA’s Mahindra vehicle is registered in the name of an industry owned by a PDP leader. Sounds surprising because the two parties have different ideologies. For its Kashmir-centric approach, the PDP has often been dubbed pro-militant by the state BJP.
As per the documents available with Early Times, the vehicle is registered in the name of Fill Industries Ltd carrying address – 88 S/Floor, NDSE-1, New Delhi. The industry is owned by PDP leader Syed Altaf Mohammad Bukhari who had unsuccessfully contested 2009 Rajya Sabha elections in the state.
The Mahindra and Mahindra vehicle bears the Number - DL3FY/0888. Its chassis No is MAITA4BDC42A61024 and engine No is BD34M86888.
The Fill Industries Ltd. is also registered with Jammu and Kashmir Registrar of Companies under Registration No 001136.
In the February 13 Rajya Sabha elections, one BJP member had cross voted either in favour of PDP or the ruling alliance, but the party high command had closed the matter. It was surprising that the BJP MLA had still not transferred the vehicle in his name.
