JKP bids adieu to Anjum
Khoda appreciates his contribution in public service

SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 03: Jammu and Kashmir Police organized an impressive function to bid farewell to Inspector General of Police, Prisons (Retd) Mr. M. A. Anjum at Police Officers Mess here Friday evening. Mr. Anjum superannuated as Inspector General of Police (Prisons) on August 31, 2011.
The Director General of Police (DGP), Mr. Kuldeep Khoda referring the contributions made by Mr. Anjum during his long service career said he was one of the most professional officers in the Organization and rendered an exemplary service during his service tenure.
Mr. Khoda while committing on the contributions made by the officer said he had worked in different capacities in the Organization and had always come up to the aspirations of the department. He had proved himself a sincere and dedicated officer for providing service to people and the organization felt proud of having such officers on its rolls, he added.
Earlier, Inspector General of Police (Kashmir) Mr. S. M. Sahai also lauded the role of outgoing officer and said that his valour and commitment towards duty will always be remembered in future. He recalled his companionship at various assignments and said that Mr. Anjum has guided him at different junctions of policing.
Among others, the farewell function was also attended by Additional Directors General of Police, Mr. K. Rajendra Kumar, Dr. Ram Lubhaya and Mr. Naveen Aggerwal, Inspectors General of Police, Rajan Aijaz Ali, Mr. Owais Ahmed, Mr. M. A. Shah, Mr. Z. H. Chisti, Mr. Farooq Ahmed and Mr. H. K. Lohia, DIG, Srinagar, Mr. A. G. Mir, AIG (P), Mr. G. H. Bhat, SSP, Srinagar, Syed Ashiq Hussain Bukhari and other senior police officers.
