| Bail denied to alleged narco-smuggler | | | EARLY TIMES
JAMMU, Sept 03: Principal sessions judge, Jammu, Jang Bahadur Singh Jamwal today dismissed the bail application of alleged narco-smuggler Tarsem Lal.According to police case, a patrol party of Chinore police post received an information on July 30 last that a vehicle (JK08A/2576), which was being driven by the petitioner, had come from Srinagar and carried narcotics.
The vehicle was intercepted and its search led police to the recovery of 1.9 kg of charas.
After hearing the counsels of both the sides and scanning the record of the case, the principal session’s judge dismissed the bail application of the petitioner.
