JAMMU, Sept 3: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) Srinagar has announced provision of telephone connections “on demand”.
In a handout issued here today, BSNL has said that connection shall be provided within three days after registration. In addition to the above, BSNL has said that existing esteemed customers of landline connection holders of BSNL can also avail high speed internet facilities/Broadband connections “on demand”.
Areas which are “on demand” for provision of landline telephone connections include Indira Nagar, Nishat, Residency Road, Lal Chowk, M.A,.Road, Sanger Mal Shopping Complex, Buchwara Dalgate, Maisuma, Exchange Road, Budshah Chowk , Gow Kadal , Barbar Shah ,Ganpathyar , Karala Khud, Haba Kadal (East), Hari Singh High Street, Magermal Bagh, Shaheed Gunj, Khanyar , Nowhatta, M.R.Gunj, Bhori Kadal, Zaina Kadal Jamia Masjid area, Rajouri Kadal, Raj Bagh, Jawahir Nagar, Ikhrajpora, Gogji Bagh, Wazir Bagh, Lal Mandi, Tulsi Bagh , Lal Ded Hospital, Wanbal, Rangreth , Old Airport Road, Humhama, Airport , Gogo, Qamerwari, Bemina , Fruit Mandi, Parimpora, Iqbal Abad , Sir Syed Abad, SDA Colony , Nund Resh Colony, Zainakote, Sharief Abad, Sekidaffer, Safa Kadal, Noor Bagh, Hawal, Soura ( E) , Buchpora, Soura Colony, Sekidafffer, Safa Kadal, Noor Bagh, Dana Mazar, Malik Sahib, Chadoora, Charari Sharief, Budgam, Khanda, Beerwah, Magam, Pakherpora, Kremshora, Narbal, Soi Bugh Town only, S.K.Colony ,Cheeni Chowk , Lal Chowk, Mattan Chowk, Nai Basti, Gulshan Abad, Janglat Mandi. Customers can register their applications at customer service centre exchange road Srinagar or Dal Gate. For Rural areas at Customer Service Centers, Anantnag, Baramulla and Pulwama from 9.30 AM to 3.30 PM with registration fee of Rs.500 (cash) only.
In case the telephone is not installed within 5 days in city areas, customers have been asked to contact on e-mail address [email protected]. In case, telephone is not installed within seven days in rural areas, customers can contact on e-mail address [email protected].
