| NDS youth wing presented "Baddal Kale , Daya De Aale " | | |  EARLY TIMES
Jammu, Sep 3: The youth wing of Nami Dogri Sanstha - The Art Foundation in collaboration with J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages organised a musical evening " Baddal Kale , Daya De Aale " on Saturday, 3rd September, 2011 at 4.00 p.m. at K. L. Sehgal Hall, Cultural Academy Complex, Jammu.
Senior advocate, Supreme Court of India and former advocate General, J&K D. C.Raina was the chief guest:
Kalpana Kesar, renowned singer and principal, Degree College, Bishnah was the guest of jonour. S. S. Anand Lehar, renowned Urdu short story writer, sr. advocate, supreme court of India and patron, Nami Dogri Sanstha- ¬The Art Foundation ( regd.) presided over the function.
Savita Bakshi, additional secretary, Cultural Academy and Dogra Harish Kaila also shared the dais.
In the beginning of the musical evening, a traditional lamp was enlightened by the dignitaries.
Savita Bakshi presented the welcome address. She highlighted the academy programme.
The programme was started by a group song sung by Chanchal Sharma, Preeti Sharma, Supriya Sharma, Pallavi Rajput, Parvinder Singh Pali "Apple", Sham Manyal, Rabjot Singh, GurJsharan Kour, Manju Bala & Nidhi Kaila.
Various songs were recited by singers which were penned by Bekal Utsahi, Yash Pal Yash, Mohan Lal Komal, Bishan Singh Dardi, K. K. Shakir & Ayodhya Rani Gamkhar. Songs were composed by Sham Sajan, Yash Pal Yash and Dogra Harish Kaila. Synthesizer was played by Bunty Kumar, tabla by Karnail Singh, guitar by Shivinder Kumar, flute by Rakesh Anand.
D C Raina applauded the efforts of the youth singers and extended his moral and financial support to boost their courage in the coming time.
He also emphasized that quality work of literature and music shall be brought among the masses so that best of the better is delivered to the society.
