| Man falls from tree, dies | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 04: A man died after he fell from a walnut tree at Lavlotha Kheri in Banihal area of Ramban this afternoon.
Police Ghulam Nabi (40), son of Mohammad Ramzan Naik, fell from a walnut tree near his residence at Lavlotha and sustained critical injuries.
He was admitted to the Banihal hospital and later referred to SKIMS, Srinagar, but he died on the way.
After post-mortem at the Banihal hospital, police handed over the body to his legal heirs for last rites.
Banihal police station had registered a case and initiated inquest proceedings under section 174 of CrPC.
