| Blood donation camp held | | |

As a part of 101st Birthday celebrations of Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah, which is falling on 5th December 2006, a blood donation camp was organized at SMGS Hospital National Conference (NC) workers this morning. Ajay Sadhotra, President NC Jammu Province, inaugurated the camp. Volunteers of NC led by Chander Mohan Sharma, District President Jammu Urban donated about 25 blood units at the blood donation camp.
Inaugurating the camp, Sadhotra appreciated the role of the District Jammu Urban for organizing the camp as a part of celebrations to commemorate the 101st Birth anniversary of Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah. He called upon the youth to come forward and organize such camps, which are for the cause of the people. Addressing the volunteers, Chander Mohan Sharma called upon the youth to work with greater zeal and enthusiasm for the well being the people of the state, which would be the befitting homage to the great-departed leader.
Fruits and other eatables were also distributed among the donors and people on the occasion. Prominent among others present on the occasion were Rattan Lal Gupta, Sr.
Vice President, Bimla Luthra, Th. Kashmira Singh, Vinod Bhalla etc.
