| NPSU protest against ignorance of students demands | | | EARLY TIMES
Jammu, Sep 5: National Panthers Students Union (NPSU) held a massive protest demonstration at GDC Ramban against the college administration and district administration for ignoring the long pending demands of the student community of District.
The protest was led by Urphy Ahmed (College President) and Mangal Singh (District President NPSU), Amit Singh (Tehsil President NPSU), Reki Singh (District organizer NPSU) and Surjeet Singh (Zonal President NPSU) were the prominent present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering Urphy said that there are number of demands of the student community pending and no heed has been paid to their demands so far due to which NPSU was forced to launch agitation against the concerned authorities.
He said that there is water scarcity in the college as there is no proper supply of water in the college as well as huge problem of electricity.
He further demanded the transportation facility for the students and the approach road to GDC Ramban be repaired.
He said there is also very big problem of parking for the students due to which the students are forced to park their vehicles here and there which not safe at all. They also demanded Hostel facility for the students of the college.
Others who were present on the occasion include Vedsh Kumar (Sr. Vice President, GDC Ramban), Ab. Karim and Joginder Singh (Vice presidents, GDC Ramban), Kanan Gupta (Gen. Secy. GDC) and Surbhi Gupta (Secy. GDC)
