| NCURDS organises seminar on rockets | | | EARLY TIMES REOPRT
JAMMU, Sept 5: National Council for Urban and Rural Development Society (NCURDS), Jammu organised three days model rocketry workshop for the students and teachers at Guru Gobind Singh Higher Secondary School, Kunjwani.
The workshop was inaguated by I.D Soni, Commissioner Scout and Guide, Jammu and Kashmir.
Speaking on the occasion Soni gave a brief lecture about the scientific system of rocket. There after its usage in our life.
The youth and participants admired the knowledge provided by the chief guest and scientist from the department of science and technology, government of India.
Soni also appreciated the role of NCURDS for organising such a scientific programme and also requested to organise such programme in future for the interest of the students.
The main objective of the workshop was to educate the young generation about the rocket science.
