Four month training course for new batch of KAS officers inaugurated | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR Sept 5: Financial Commissioner, Revenue Pramod Jain today inaugurated four month revenue training course for newly inducted KAS Officers at government revenue training institute, revenue complex Bemina Srinagar.
Addressing, the KAS Officers, the Financial Commissioner stressed upon the Officers to acquaint themselves with revenue records, laws related to revenue and problems of the civil society. He further asked officers after assuming the charge of their new assignments, mix up with the rural masses, listen their problems and difficulties facing by them in connection with settle their long pending revenue records and sort out them with their quick response and best possible solutions.
Jain also impressed upon future administrators that the department of revenue being a key bone of the administration, emphasized them to learn the basics of the revenue related laws etc. He also stressed for public services maintenance act and said that the common people particularly the rural masses have great expectations from them.
Principal, RTI, Firdous Sultan, Director Land Records, Kashmir, Abdul Rashid Dar and Settlement Officer, Kashmir, Gazi Ahmad Pandit were present on the occasion. Later, the Principal RTI while addressing the Officers said that newly KAS Officers will be imparted training with regard to Revenue Laws and give them basic acquaintance about the preparation of land records, land acquisitions, public services maintenance Act, land revenue act, Agrarian Reforms Act, Conduct of Girdawari, Hadayat Bundobust I and II etc with engagement of experienced faculty.
