| Three fasting Moglha Mine workers serious, one shifted to Hospital | | | RAJOURI | DEC-03 One of the agitating mine workers, who have been on hunger strike in support of their demands, was shifted from Moghla mines to Sub District Hospital Sunderbani when his condition deteriorated. According to SSP Rajouri the workers are on hunger strike for the last few days adding that condition of two more fasting workers is serious. NC SEEKS EARLY RELEASE OF SALARIES: The National Conference legislators and senior leaders in a joint statement have expressed their serious concern over the callous and step-motherly treatment towards the demands of the employees of Mogla mine at Kalakote who are on fast unto death for last couple of days. These employees are demanding release of their pending salaries besides regularization of daily wagers. The statement further says if government failed to accept the demands of these employees who are on fast unto death, there is every apprehension that the situation may take ugly turn for which government would be responsible. The leaders called upon the Chief Minister to intervene personally and save the employees and their families from starvation by conceding to their genuine demands. The signatories to the statement are Kr. Rachpal Singh, Syed Mushtaq Ahmed Bukhari, Mohd Aslam Khan, Mir Nazir Ahmed, Vipan Pal Sharma and Bashir Ahmed Wani.
